Mass assigning comments

Before mass assigning comments you must first create them in your comment bank.

Adding/editing comments in comment bank
  • Login to Synergy
  • Mouse over Report Card and then click on Students
  • Click on Edit Comment Bank

  • From here you can add, edit, and delete comments

  • While editing a comment you can use special variables to automatically insert a student's name or pronoun.

Use a student name or pronoun placeholder code in your
comments and the system replaces the appropriate name or
    pronoun text.
    <<He>> <<She>> <<Name>>
    <<his>> <<hers>>
    <<him>> <<her>>
    <<Userswap>> <<userswap>>
For example, <<Name>> was a pleasure to have in class.
Swap Type exchanges either the name or pronoun
placeholders in the comment. The <<Userswap>>
placeholder enables you to use both a name and pronoun
    placeholder in the same sentence.
For example, I hope <<Userswap>> has a good summer.
<<He>> was a pleasure to have in class.
Your student replaces pronouns for non-binary gender
    students.
  • When adding/editing a comment you may also pre-add the Spanish translation.
